Mr Gornall

Hello, I’m Mr Gornall. I have worked here at Medlock Valley since September 2012 and currently teach Year 3/4G. Before arriving here I worked as an Architectural Technologist, helping design new and exciting buildings. I’m not originally from Oldham; I was actually born in Leeds but I have lived in the North West for over ten years now. My role within School is primarily as a teacher but I am also the Computing Curriculum Lead as well as being in charge of the school website and online learning platforms.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, long countryside walks with my dog, Mo, and watching Leeds United play. I also enjoy playing tennis and escaping to warmer countries during the half-term and summer holidays.
My favourite event in the school calendar is the christmas fair as I love indulging in all of the delicious festive foods we bake and sell.
