Mrs Baker
Hello, I’m Mrs Baker, formerly known as Miss Oldham. I have worked at Medlock Valley since first qualifying as a teacher and after spending many years in EYFS have now moved into Year 1. As well as teaching in Year 1, I am also the Phonics lead across school.
When I’m not in school I love to spend time with my two beautiful boys and my husband, making memories together as a family. I have found a new passion for exercise and enjoy participating in different classes online. I also enjoy getting lost in a good book and a good dose of retail therapy!
Mrs Gibson
Hello I’m Mrs Gibson, formerly Miss Gillett. I started working at Medlock Valley in 2004 when I first qualified as a teacher and after more than 15 years here, I feel like part of the furniture! I have taught throughout the school but currently teach in Year 1. In addition to this role I am the Music Lead across school.
I grew up and went to school in Oldham and I now live in Rochdale with my husband and two children, Maxwell and Molly. In my spare time I am a keen netballer, playing weekly for a local team. I enjoy watching soaps on TV, especially EastEnders and Coronation Street and I am also partial to a crime thriller too.
