Reach Ambassadors

At Medlock Valley, we believe that the promotion of our school values is vital in developing our pupils to become responsible citizens. Our school council (REACH Ambassadors) is a group of pupils from across the school who represent the views of all pupils and uphold the values at all times. In selecting these councillors, we use a democratic process which all pupils are involved in at the start of the school year. Being a REACH Ambassador is an extremely important role as it gives our children the opportunity to have their voices heard and be part of the whole school community. They help to make decisions about school life and organise projects that support learning and development, such as organising charity events, theme days or representing the school at outside events. Meetings allow pupils a forum to share ideas and opinions with members of staff to help make our school an even better place.
